Please consider your vote carefully! Your decisions on elections are some of the most important decisions delegates make.
If we at GSG hear of any other floor nominations, we will share that information as soon as possible after receiving confirmation that the nomination was submitted appropriately. As always at GirlScoutGovernance.com, we believe our democratic processes are strengthened by complete transparency and sharing important information as soon as it becomes available.
Here is additional information on voting procedures for your information:
Voting procedures when there is a floor nominee for the position of board member-at-large (From the NCS Delegate User Guide 2020, page 31-32): “The process for voting for the slate during the 55th NCS will vary depending upon whether nominations from the floor are received. . . . If there is a nominee(s) for a member-at-large position, all slated and floor nominated candidates will then be presented to the body for a vote, with the 25 candidates receiving a majority vote being elected. Given the large amount of data to be processed (approximately 1,200 delegates casting 25 votes), the DirectVote platform will be used and the results will be announced during the NCS meeting on Sunday, October 25.”
