Poll Results from GSG Town Halls

During our first three Town Halls, we presented polls to gauge where attendees stood on various proposals and possible amendments. These were straw polls and reflected the opinions only of those delegates, alternates, and visitors who chose to attend the sessions in question and participate in the polls.  People “self-selected” to come to these unofficial webinars, and additionally, some individuals attended and most likely voted at all three sessions.  Our polls were completely anonymous, plus we don’t know how many people attending actually voted.

We present these results for the same reasons we sponsored the unofficial webinars: we believe in democratic processes and that good democratic processes require transparency in action and the ability to discuss issues facing our Movement with one another freely prior to the National Council Session.

All that said, take these results with a grain of salt because the only votes that will officially count are the ones taken at the National Council Session.  If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or email us at admin@girlscoutgovernance.com.
